ORNAMENTAL FISHES OF WESTERN GHATS OF KARNATAKA

The Western Ghats of Karnataka has vast potential resources of valuable fish species that are of ornamental value. The Western Ghats are considered as one of the hot spots of biodiversity and the recent survey has indicated that there exist rich resources of ornamental fishes belonging to the family cyprinidae.
